Rio de Janeiro

Rio is the second largest city Brazil and no doubt the most famous. The reasons are many, but the verdict is unanimous that everyone should visit. The city occupies a spectacular geographical space between the Atlantic and the surrounding mountains that is hard to find anywhere in the world. The weather is great all year-round which makes it even easier to visit no matter what the season is. There's something for everyone to do in Rio and you should plan at least 4 nights to get a sense of what the city has to offer.
