London
There are a handful of iconic cities around the world that need no introduction, and London town is certainly up there on the list. The city may feel overwhelming to some, but that should not deter anyone from visiting for at least once in a lifetime. There is so much to do and see, so plan accordingly. Fun fact, I arrived to London on Christmas day and EVERYTHING was closed. I even had trouble getting from the airport to the city due to lack of transportation options.

Where to Stay:
-
My favorite districts are Soho and Kensigton. Trendy, good eats, shopping and great London vibe.
-
If you’re on a budget, stay in King’s Cross/Camden. There are plenty of affordable hostels, cheap eats, and vintage markets and shops.
-
For a central location close to many of the sights and museums, stay in Southwark.
-
For party goers, stay in Shoreditch/Spitalfields. Lots of bars and clubs.

Where/What to Eat:
-
E. Pellicci - Great spot for English breakfast and other comfort foods.
-
Esters - One of the best brunch spots in London.
-
You must eat Indian food in London. Consider Dishoom Shoreditch for a great modern twist on Indian classics.
-
You must have a proper English tea experience. Look for some of London's "secret" tea rooms, or consider having a great afternoon tea experience at the Savoy Hotel.
-
Eat your way through Borough Market, Maltby Street Market, and Camden Market.
-
You must eat some fish and chip every chance you get. The Golden Chippy and Poppies Fish and Chip are amongst the best.
-
Have a pint (and perhaps a fish and chip) at one of London's many historic watering holes. Among the favorites are the Star Tavern, the Mayflower and the French House.
